Promoting Positive Behaviour

Based on our Christian values of Nurture, Inspire, Respect and Achieve, it is our aim that every member of the school community feels valued, respected and treated fairly. We work to ensure that all members of the school community treat one another with respect and kindness.  We praise and encourage positive behaviours and seek to celebrate the achievements of all pupils.

Teachers work to ensure that all pupils are aware of the school rules, these are displayed around school and in classrooms. We learn about and celebrate diversity in all its forms. Our PSHE curriculum and enrichment activities support this. (See learning tab for more details)

Anti-bullying

We have a zero tolerance approach to bullying and rigorously address any sort of behaviour which hurts, threatens or frightens any member of the school community. All incidents involving physical or verbal aggression, whether bullying or not, are referred to a senior member of staff for investigation and resolution. Parents are actively encouraged to contact to the school if they have any concerns or evidence of bullying or aggressive behaviour.

We believe that every child has the right to feel happy, safe and secure in school.
