Ethos & Values
At St Giles, our curriculum and ethos are built around four key Christian values: Respect, Nurture, Inspire, and Achieve.
At the heart of everything we do is RESPECT - when we respect one another, we create a caring and nurturing environment where every child can feel valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
We place children and their families at the centre of all that we do, working together as a school community to support their growth, well-being, and success. Through a loving and supportive environment, we aim to NURTURE and INSPIRE well-rounded and outward-looking young people, equipping them with the values, skills, and confidence they need to thrive and ACHIEVE in an ever-changing world.
The essence of the school values is really lovely, the sense that each child is seen and heard is apparent.

Our values are explored with the children in worship, link to our RHSE curriculum in class and are applied to every day school life, for example through our Golden Rules. You can find out more about our approach to behaviour here.
